The Eastern Railway Project is a project to build a new railway in the eastern part of the State of Israel. The project will create a rail network that will connect the north and south of the country, bypassing the Dan Bloc and the bottleneck of the railways in the Ayalon Corridor. The project will also create a main transportation artery for goods and increase the transportation capacity from the ports of Haifa and Ashdod to all parts of the country. The project includes the construction of the railways and stations along the route.
The project used the QAONLINE system for information management and quality control processes. In addition, a risk management module (RAMS) was defined for the project.
